Panel of Nosocomial Infection Control
One of the serious problems in all hospitals is healthcare associated infections (HAIs) and the resistant microbes that cause them. Currently, the issue of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a global challenge and in order to deal with that, the principles of infection prevention and control (IPC) are very important.
In the panel of infection control, first of all, statistics and epidemiology of nosocomial infections and microbial resistance will be addressed, then the correct sampling method and ways to determine sensitivity and resistance to antibiotics and finally the principles of controlling these infections will be discussed
